Subject: Mountains are not only the glittering peaks, steep walls and violent avalanches. Even in the lowest mountains extreme routes can be found. They lead not to the peak but to the depth, into the ground. The film tells about the expedition of speleologists from Sudak to the Crimean caves onto the plateau Karabi-Yaly. The difficult process of preparing for the descent and the grace of the Crimean caves are reflected in the film. Experienced speleologists and newcomers and even 11 and 15 year old children took part in the expedition.
