Subject: Børge Ousland sets out for the greatest challenge of his life: crossing the Arctic from Siberia to Canada. Nobody has ever managed to do this, nor has anyone ever tried to do so. It was not man against nature, but man agaist himself. He tries to set himself short-term goals, whilst also forcing himself to cover more difficult stretches every day. Frost bite and an exhausted body force him to slow down towards the end. But finally, after nearly three months and 1800 kilometres on the ice, he reached the shore of Canada.
