Subject: Film describes the trip on the catamarans from lake Taymir along the shore of Karskoe Sea to cape Mogilniy – the burial place of the participants of the geographical expedition to the Arctic Ocean in 1910-1915. The team faced insuperable ice and was forced to set on the cape Oskar of the peninsula Taimir. Almost a century ago the tragic events of the arctic wintering of ice-boats “Taimir” and “Vaigach” took place here.
