Subject: This 12 min audiovisual illustration of the climbing of the highest peak of Austria features two of the most extreme ways to the top. The Pallavicini Channel, a 600 m long and up to 55* steep channel of ice, which just can be climbed at the right temperature and the right time of day. If not, breaking off pieces of ice and especially stones can cause serious problems to the climbers. The Studlgrat is a kilometer long small trail on the top of a steep, huge rock chain. Many lost their life’s in trying to conquer this summit.
